Monday Morning Power Up
A simple 5-minute energizing meditation you can do on Monday morning to start your week on a positive note:
Find a quiet and comfortable place to sit down. You can sit on a chair or cross-legged on the floor, whichever feels most comfortable for you.
Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Inhale slowly and deeply through your nose, and exhale slowly through your mouth.
Begin to focus on your breath. Notice the sensation of the air entering and leaving your body. Allow your mind to quiet down and just focus on your breath.
As you inhale, visualize positive energy flowing into your body. Imagine that this energy is filling you up with vitality and strength.
As you exhale, imagine any negativity or stress leaving your body. Release any tension or worries that you may be holding onto.
Continue to breathe deeply and visualize positive energy flowing into your body with each inhale, and negativity leaving your body with each exhale.
If your mind begins to wander, gently bring your attention back to your breath and the visualization of positive energy flowing into your body.
When you feel ready, take a final deep breath and slowly open your eyes.
